Mark 11:17-19

¹⁷ He began to teach them: “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’?^[a] But you have made it ‘a den of robbers’!”^[b]

¹⁸ The chief priests and the experts in the law heard this and were looking for a way to kill him. Indeed they were afraid of him, because the whole crowd was amazed at his teaching.

¹⁹ When evening came, Jesus and his disciples would leave the city.
